Three Michigan school district superintendents will provide a first-hand description of how their districts have been coping with budget cutbacks. They will discuss the reforms they’ve been able to make, what services they’ve had to scale back, and what the implications of these changes are for Michigan’s students.

1:00 PM Keynote: Robert Bobb, Detroit Public Schools
Robert Bobb, Emergency Financial Manager for Detroit Public Schools, will discuss his thoughts on the opportunities and challenges facing the state’s largest school district.
