DESCRIPTION: A trust fund composed of bequests for children with special health care needs provides assistance in three ways: direct provision of special services or equipment for individuals; assistance to groups; and, funding for demonstration projects and programs designed to improve the service delivery system. Monies from the Federal Maternal and Child Health Block Grant and from fees and collections supplement the trust fund.
