DESCRIPTION: The Office of Services to the Aging and local Area Agencies on Aging provide community services which include: in-home and alternative care; preventive services through senior centers and congregate meal sites; education, support and legal services for elder abuse; counseling assistance with Medicare and Medicaid; care management; ombudsman services; and, community based alternatives to nursing facility placement.
