 INJURY CONTROL INTERVENTION

LEGISLATIVE AUTHORITY: M.C.L. 333.5401-5439; 1978 PA 368, Part 54.

DESCRIPTION: Safe Kids Coalitions/Chapters throughout the state implement prevention strategies to reduce the top six categories of preventable childhood injury. Fire safety promotion and the purchase of smoke detectors for over 4,000 high-risk homes are supported by these funds. Injury data collection systems are being established.
