LEGISLATIVE AUTHORITY: Social Security Act, Title 19 (Medicaid); Executive Order 1996-1, M.C.L. 333.2401-2498; 1978 PA 368, Part 24

DESCRIPTION: Funds are provided to local health departments to locate and assist families with members who are potentially eligible for Medicaid. If persons are potentially eligible for other programs such and Women's, Infants and Children's (WIC), Michigan Child, Children's Special Health services or others, they assist them in apply for those programs as well.
