DESCRIPTION: Medicaid pays pharmaceutical providers for covered prescription drugs and for laboratory, orthotics, prosthetics medical and oxygen supplies.

ALLOCATION/
DISTRIBUTION:
Invoices submitted for covered items and services by pharmaceutical providers are adjusted according to reimbursement policies, if indicated, and paid. A third party under contract with the state administers pharmacy fee for service benefits.
