DESCRIPTION: The Department of Corrections contracts with a managed care provider for the provision of hospital and specialty physician's services for the prison population that are not provided by the department directly. The managed care provider also contracts with an insurance company for physician, dental, hospital, diagnostic and pharmaceutical services
