 NUTRITION SERVICES FOR THE AGING

DESCRIPTION: There are three programs to assist older persons with nutrition. Congregate Meals provides at least hot or other appropriate meal five or more days a week in congregate settings. Home-delivered Meals provides at least one home-delivered meal five or more days a week. The U.S. Department of Agriculture provides cash payments for senior nutrition services under terms of the Federal Older Americans Act.
