DESCRIPTION: The Office of Services to the Aging operates two respite care programs. The Senior Respite Program is financed by payments made by Blue Cross/Blue Shield that are not cashed by the time limit and are escheated to the state and credited to the Respite Fund. The Caregiver Respite Program is supported by tobacco settlement funds.
