DESCRIPTION: Emergency medical services and personnel are licensed by the state. These include: ambulance operations and vehicles; nontransport prehospital life support vehicles; aircraft transport vehicles; medical first response vehicles; and equipment required for transport or treatment of an individual requiring life support. Individuals who act as Medical First Responders, Emergency Medical Technicians, Emergency Medical Technician Specialists, Paramedics and Instructors and Coordinators must be licensed.
